The first and the most popular tourist destination in China is the Great Wall. The length of the wall is about 5,500 miles with 2,000 years of construction period. The wall has 35 watchtowers and is divided into 9 parts that visitors can easily climb and explore the wall.

The first part is Beijing which includes the Badaling Great Wall which is the key of national cultural relic and the Juyongguan Pass which is surrounded by the mountain. The second section is Gansu which is the remaining of four dynasties in China which are Warring period, Qin, Han, and Ming. The third is Heibei where the Great Wall meets the sea by Laolongtou. The fourth is in Inner Mongolia in which one third of the Great Wall’s length is standing in this area. The fifth one is in Liaoning which is the beginning of the eastern part of the Great Wall. The sixth is the Great Wall in Ningxia which lies along the famous Yellow river. The seventh is Shaanxi on which the biggest terrace of the Great Wall was built. The eighth is Sanxi which becomes the center of the military. The last one is Tianjin which has the most complete defensive system with the fortress and fire towers.

Each section of the Great Wall seems to have its own attraction which will be hard to be missed by people who make a travel for holiday to China.
